Follow me on my Writing 220 journey as I take you through each of the experiments I conducted this semester in order to learn more about the different genres, modes, and styles of writing. For this course, we were tasked with taking an original piece and using it as an inspiration to create something new. It was all about exploring our limits, pushing ourselves further as writers and as creators, and understanding just how relevant writing is in a variety of contexts. The piece I chose was a journal entry, written in the form of a manifesto, on periods. Our end goal was to complete one of these experiments in its entirety, and I chose experiment 1.
